It’s a game that every child must have liked in their childhood. You know the game and you haven’t played it from a very long time. It’s time to relive your childhood. It’s still fun and if you want you can amend the rules according to your devilish thoughts. You may remember the rules, but let me put it down again.

Step 1

Set up the chairs one after the other in a shape like two parallel lines, circle or an oval. The count should be one less than the participants.

Step 2

The participants are supposed to dance and walk round the chairs while the music is being played. The person in charge of music can stop it any time.

Step 3

As soon as the music stops, the players run to sit on the chairs and the left one is eliminated. The last person left at the end wins.

Everything is same- the music starts and stop, players go round the chairs while the music is on and as it stops you find your place. Sounds easy?

Let’s introduce

Step 4

It’s time to introduce something new. Let just say, when the music stops you sat on the chair with your feet off the grounds. You will remain in the game till the time your feet are not touching the ground. It will also encourage lap sitting. As usual the left out will be eliminated.
