Jive Can's musical style is a concoction of Old School Blues with a mix of Contemporary Rock & Funky vibes. Their last two years has been a self-study in the Blues genre - playing with it, fusing it, concocting it and attempting to find their own sound in the midst of multiple internal musical contradictions and they are loving the journey. The band is currently recording its full-length studio album at CBA's Den Music Studio.
Ashish Ddavidd (Vocals)
Lead Vocalist Ashish Ddavidd is also a Radio Jockey & Voice Over Artist, besides being a singer with near two decades of experience with the likes of late Babush Santana, Them Clones, Artists Unlimited, Out Of The Blue and Euphoria to name a few well known musical outfits of the city. Ashish besides being the lead Vocalist is also the band's studio engineer and is responsible for the band's studio productions.
Ish Anand (Guitars)
Ish has been playing down the years with many well-known bands in the city like Manthan, 100 Octane, The Rejekts & The Nemesis. His playing style is primarily Blues. He draws his inspiration from all-time greats like Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Duane Allman and among the modern Blues guitarists his favourites are Matt Schofield, Josh Smith & Eric Gales.
Jivitesh Kharbanda (Bass)
Jivitesh draws his influences from the likes of Pino Paladino, Marcus Miller, Scott Devine, James Jamesson, Jeff Berlin, Victor Wooten, Jaco Pastorius and Anthony Jackson. This reflects in his playing style which is a blend of Old School Motown, Modern Funk and good ol' Blues! Jivitesh has been known to be the back bone for well-known Delhi bands like Nasha, Nasya & World Folk Ensemble.
Naren Chhetri (Drums)
Naren draws his inspiration from drummers like Dave Weckl, Vinnie Kaluta & Jojo Mayer. He has played in Delhi based bands like 'World Folk Ensemble' which made world music and 'Samarpan' a Semi Classical Fusion band. Naren is also a gifted Music teacher & instructor and has been working for Manoj Mavely's music school in Gurgaon 'Music Tech' for last 5 years. He is also working for an Austraia based comapany called 'Human Rhythms' which conduct Corporate Workshops and Training around the concepts and ideas of Rhythm. He draws his inspirations from Funk & 80s Disco & R&B Music.
Mohit Dimri (Keyboards)
Mohit is the band's keyboard player. He grew up listening to a lot of Rock. He draws his inspirations from the music of bands like Rush, Weather Report, AC DC, Asia, Earth Wind Fire, Santana, Floyd, Rolling Stones & Def Leppard. He has been a part of Delhi based bands like Crude Peace, Cards, Out Of The Blue & Prithvi. His playing style could best be described as a healthy mix of Retro Rock, Blues, Rock & Roll and a bit of Progressive.
