Tinctures is a duo based out of Bangalore and Berlin, featuring Aman Mahajan on piano and Nishad Pandey on guitar. Performing entirely original repertoire, their music is an organic confluence of jazz, Western and Indian classical music, and contemporary influences.
Their workshop, 'Inside The Music' is meant for musicians who wish to further engage with the duo, explore the compositional methods used, and discuss the performance and improvisation. The workshop will be conducted by the duo performing selected pieces from their album Heads and Tales, and discussing the concepts behind each piece, the musical devices used, and the ways in which they are manipulated.
